Launch of Wuhan Sparkjoint Gutian 1967 Data Center Project

On March 19, the groundbreaking ceremony of Wuhan Sparkjoint Gutian 1967 Data Center project was held at Gutian 1967 Industrial Park in Qiaokou District, marking a significant step in advancing the region's digital economy development.

Jointly developed by Wuhan Sparkjoint Information Technology Co., Ltd. and Tencent Cloud, this state-of-the-art facility will feature 2,000 IT cabinets with 10T-15T bandwidth capacity, scheduled for operational launch within the year.

Mr. Shen Ke, Vice President of Tencent Cloud, highlighted that this project represents China's first smart low-carbon demonstration data center. Featuring an "intelligent brain" system, it integrates cutting-edge technologies including:

• Modular containerized design consolidating infrastructure components
• AI-powered security with motion detection and facial recognition
• Photovoltaic curtain walls and waste heat recovery systems
• Intelligent maintenance platform for real-time monitoring

Mr. Yao Xiaogang, General Manager of Sparkjoint, emphasized the facility's dual role as both Tencent Cloud's authorized application center in Central China and a hub for next-generation digital services including IDC solutions and cloud-native applications.

The project revitalizes the historic Gutian 1967 Industrial Park, where China's first foreign factory director Mr. Gerhard Neumann pioneered industrial reforms in 1984.
